Brownie Girl Scout Programs ( Grades 2nd & 3rd )

Coloring On Canvas offers Brownie Girl Scouts the opportunity to earn official badges and Fun Badges. Brownies can earn a variety of badges from a GS PAINTING BADGE to a BROWNIE PHILANTHROPIST BADGE. We are continuously creating new programs to match the GS badge requirments. All supplies are included and girls have access to our plethora of inspiring materials.

Girl Scout leaders can schedule the following programs for their troops to complement art, gardening, creative & business related Girl Scout badge requirements.
Programs are available Thursdays 6–7:30pm and Saturdays 10–11:30am, summer through fall and must be scheduled at least two weeks in advance.

Registration is pre-required.

$12 per girl, leader or participant. Badges are not included in program fee. Siblings may attend as participants (not recommended for ages under 5 years).


These program sessions are 1.5 hours and groups must have a minimum of 9 participants.


Painting Badge -Brownie Scouts will illustrate on their very own 6"x6" canvas. Brownie Scouts will experiment with a few painting techniques to help them make their painting unique & creative. We will have a array of fun objects to paint with besides just a paint pen or brush. Sponges, bubbles made from straws are just some of the techniques the girls can enjoy.  This class is sure to get them inspired to keep on painting!
This session is 1.5 hours.


Game Making Badge-You can have fun without a computer, a deck of cards or even a ball. Games are everywhere when you use your mind and creativity to make them up! We will help you design & create your very own game. Creativity is all around you & all it takes is some imagination fun, colorful & eclectic items and you have a game that you and your friends will enjoy & never be bored again!
This session is 1.5 hours.

Philanthropist -Girl Scouts make the world a better place. One way to do that is to make sure everyone’s basic needs are met. In this badge, you’ll explore basic human needs and how you can be a “philanthropist,” a person who gives to people who need help.
