Daisy Girl Scout Programs
( Grades K- 1 )


Girl Scout leaders can schedule the following programs for their troops to complement art, gardening, creative & business related Girl Scout badge requirements.
Programs are available Thursdays 6–7:30pm and Saturdays 10–11:30am, summer through fall and must be scheduled at least two weeks in advance.


Registration is pre-required.

$11 per girl, leader or participant. Badges are not included in program fee. Siblings may attend as participants (not recommended for ages under 5 years).

These program sessions are 1.5 hours and groups must have a minimum of 10 participants.

Green Petal -Daisy Scouts will learn the importance of using resources wisely. Girls will learn
the meaning behind Reduce, Reuse, Recycle (use only what you need, use something more than once and turning something old into new).  They will create Natures Picture Frame using recyclable materials. Daisy Scouts will be encouraged to use resources wisely by being given examples of what they can do at home.

This session is an hour long.  
Badges not included.

Watering Can Badge - Daisy Scouts will assemble a mini-Fairy Garden and learn how to be responsible for their Itty Bitty plant and/or seeds. The watering can symbolizes a source of nourishment for a garden. We touch on how the girls nurture themselves by learning and following the Girl Scout Promise and Law. Girls will be encouraged to keep a daily journal on what they observe to be happening in their garden. This session is an hour long.  Badges not included.
